We are using Discourse and would like to configure weekly activity summary (digest) emails for moderators based on the categories they moderate.
Our setup uses moderator groups (for example: Category A Moderators, Category B Moderators, etc.).
Our requirement is:
• When a moderator group is added to a category, all users in that group should automatically receive weekly activity summary emails for that category
• If the same moderator group is added to multiple categories, users in that group should receive one combined weekly digest email containing activity from all those categories
• This should ideally be managed through group defaults and category notification settings, without manually updating each moderator’s personal email preferences
We would like to confirm:

Whether Discourse supports setting weekly digest frequency at the group level (for moderator groups)

How the weekly email content is structured when a moderator belongs to multiple moderated categories (combined vs separate emails)

If any plugins or automation are required for this behavior
We already have global digest emails enabled in the admin email settings.
Could you please advise on the recommended configuration and confirm the expected email behavior?
