Is there a way to connect Discourse data to Tableau? Or download discourse data so we can cross reference it with our association data and analyze it?

Yes, if you visit Admin, Backups you can download the complete database in Postgres format. Or you can use the Data Explorer plugin, which is available on the business and enterprise hosting plans.
