Then your hands are tied, and no further progress can be made on the missing images. That’s the tradeoff. C’est la vie!

There is a topic somewhere that has the founders of the project saying that they do not recommend running stable. You can tell the client that if they want to run stable then they can have their images in 4 to 8 months.
Or you could switch to beta or tests passed to solve your problem and switch back to the ‘stale’ branch when the next release comes out.
