I saw that in topic Allow the ability to Edit post on rejection you mentioned filling in the content that requires re-editing as a draft.
That might indeed be relevant to the discussion topic of that topic, but it does not seem feasible for the situation I mentioned in this topic:
Triggering first_post_typing_time will send the post for review while simultaneously silencing the user. In other words, until the post is approved, the user cannot speak again in any non-private message context.
- In fact, unless someone else notices this new user and additionally creates a private message, the only private message he can speak in is the “Request Revision” message sent by the system.
- In addition, their reply to this private message will not give any notification to the moderator team, so the most awkward part is here: unless the moderator team manually tracks this private message after selecting “Request Revision”, otherwise the process breaks at this step.
