I flagged a post on behalf of a member in order to temporarily hide it. I don’t know how to unplug it and saw the post. I searched for the topic and found this, but I didn’t find it helpful.
Are you referring to unhiding a post? Perhaps this?
It doesn’t come up as an option at all
What is your role on the forum? Are you a moderator or admin?
Then you should see the admin wrench on the post, but you don’t. What is your configuration of the post menu site setting?

When you look at the post you flagged, can you side-scroll in the post menu? The last visible button is “bookmark,” so “delete” and the admin wrench we are looking for should be to the right of that.
You could also try safe mode to rule out whether it’s any customization that hides the wrench.
It’s not there, so I’ll check out safe mode!
You can also try moving “admin” further up in the post menu setting.
