We gebruiken Discourse om een community op te bouwen voor ons nieuwsblad.
Momenteel hebben we een forum voor elk van onze artikelen. We willen deze functie behouden en ook een community aanbieden die onafhankelijk is van artikelen. Kunt u beschrijven hoe we Discourse met een API kunnen gebruiken voor het artikel-forum?
Daarnaast willen we gebruikers een persoonlijke feed aanbieden die vergelijkbaar is met een social media-stream. Hoe kunnen we dit doen met Discourse? Welke plugin kunnen we gebruiken om deze weergave te maken?
There’s not a plugin that can do this yet, we’ve done some experimentation with group-based feeds that are sort of in the same ballpark… but not on the individual level. Discourse is more of a community platform than something interchangable with social media (which tends to focus more on the individual)
Hi Nate, thanks for your reply. No, we’re still working with outdated software at the moment, namely Phorum. We’d really like to change that, which is why we’re currently looking at Discourse. I don’t see an answer to this question here yet. Are you saying you have a site where you are hosting articles, and you want each article to have a topic in your forum? If that’s what you want, you can look at Embed Discourse comments on another website via Javascript.
