Is there any other way to stop serving google adsense ads on my website on a particular placement (like ‘Topic List Top’ showing in the screen shot) without having to delete the ‘Ad Unit Code’?
I’ve tried deleting/emptying the ‘Topic List Top Ad Sizes’ field, but that didn’t stops ads from appearing. In some cases they started appearing twice at the top of the topics. Or appeared in diff sizes.

Well, no. Why don’t you just delete the ad unit code from that slot?
