I would like to thank the Discourse development team

It’s been a long time since I’ve used such a great forum system—I can do everything I can think of, and I’ve managed to turn my forum into a perfect blend of social media and a forum. I’d like to thank the Discourse developers for creating such a system. Right now, I’ve designed Discord-style user profiles and my own custom theme. I’ve also set up the marketplace and the cosmetics store systems. I’m still very new to this, but I’m continuing to develop it. I’m a Turkish forum owner and developer. It’s great to take advantage of the modern technologies available today, and this is really beneficial for us. I’d like to extend my thanks and respect to the Discourse team.
If anyone’s curious, feel free to check out my community. It’s great to grow, and it’s great to develop. Wishing everyone a great day. This is my new Turkish community.

By the way, if you visit my community, I’d love to hear your thoughts on the theme and what’s been done.

Here are the plugins I’ve developed so far.

- Discord-style user cards

- Avatars, nameplates, user card animations, and cosmetic items that surround the user card.

- Purchase cosmetics from the Cosmetics Store using orbs earned through community quests.

- I’ve set up a marketplace system (I’m still in the early stages of development)

- A top list of game-specific servers.

That’s it for now, and I’m continuing to work on further improvements.

Bravo to your community

I really like Discord-style user cards  I think your component could be useful for the Discourse community

Thank you for your kind thought. I developed these as plugins rather than components, and of course, I used AI to help me. I might share them in the future—why not? :slightly_smiling_face:

This is beautiful. If you open the code for these plugins/components, it’ll be really useful.

There are already some shop and cosmetic plugins out there, and it would be interesting to combine the best parts of each.

Thank you for your answer. Once I’ve completed the corrections and improvements, I’m thinking of sharing it with the Discourse community. Sharing is nice :slightly_smiling_face:

Very nice community, thanks for offering German too. Unfortunately, I can only speak a little Turkish. Is it intentional that only the titles are translated and not the posts themselves?

Thank you for your kind comment! I actually just added the AI translations, so it’s possible that older topics haven’t been fully translated yet. Also, since I’m using a free AI API, it might self-limit. I wish I had the financial means to do things in a more professional way :heart_hands:

By the way, you’re welcome to join my community. If needed, I can open a new category for you. My goal is to achieve something good, but I’m genuinely struggling financially. Thank you again for your interest and comment. Best regards.

Wow, looks amazing! Not to mention I have my sights set on that avatar deco for my Discord account (yes, yes, I know)… I’m curious: how do you duplicate these effects and all? For example, the Lord Hades bundle items?

I’m glad you liked it. I extracted the avatar effects directly from Discord using the developer method and added them to user cards with my own cosmetic plugin  Sorry, my English isn’t very good; I’m communicating with the help of a translator. I hope I understood what you meant correctly.

Yep, I think I understand

I think you came by and took a quick look. What did you think of my community? Do you think the theme is cohesive?

I like the theme and how much more custom it is than the Discourse default. It really does go to show how extensive customization on Discourse can go.

That is why I thank the Discourse development team, because we can do almost anything we want or think of
