Images no longer embed

Hi, I used to be able to embed an image using ! [title] (link) but this no longer works.

Like this?

Seems to work without an issue

Yeah that doesn’t work anymore. Older posts that used it are still functional but I can’t embed images anymore. It doesn’t matter what the image is or where it came from

Ok so it appears that it DOES work when I embed it while on mobile, but not while I’m in the desktop editor. This is a bug.

Are you using the new editor and not the markdown editor?

I actually don’t know

It works on the rich editor as well if your instance is up-to-date.

Otherwise, we’ll need more details to be able to reproduce it.

How do I know if I’m on the new editor? I’m on desktop and my instance is up-to-date. It works on the mobile app.

Your theme makes it a bit light. You’re on the rich text mode from what I can see. The switcher is next to the Bold text button. The one selected has a white square background, now it’s over the A.

@Johnny_McIvor are you able to get this working on desktop? If not, can you provide replication steps showing what is not working?

I am able to add images using this markdown here using both the rich and the markdown editors.

Setting a timer to auto close.

Can you not delete the thread? I’m extremely busy and I’m running around trying to catch up on a lot of things. I will troubleshoot it this weekend

There is no particular rush on this end but we like to wrap up topics after a while.
