A friend who administers a forum was confused by this:

I suppose that there have been no critical updates since 2026.01-latest, hence the happy green smiley, but why does it show it as the latest version as well?
So your friend’s screenshot is current..? I’d expect it to show 2026.2.0 under Latest.
No, he hasn’t updated since January, yet the “latest” column shows 2026.01.0-latest.
Thanks for the report! There were a few days in January where the version number was 2026.01.0-latest. We then corrected it to 2026.1.0-latest (leading zeros are not permitted under semver rules). Looks like this confused our version-check endpoint.
I’ve now made the necessary changes on our side, so it should now show 2026.1.0 as the latest released version.
Right now we only ever show ‘released’ versions on the dashboard, which can be a little confusing for people on latest. Hoping to make some improvements to this UI soon, as part of the new versioning system.
