Information about topic is not updated when using new & unread topics banner

I noticed that when I use the new and unread topic banner, the number of replies and the activity date is not updated.

When the topic is not pinned and someone replies, the banner appears:

Then, when you click the banner, the number of replies and the activity date are updated:

When the topic is pinned, the behavior is different. The banner appears because there is a new reply:

Then, when you click the banner, the banner disappears but the numbers are not updated:

You have to refresh the site to see the updated numbers:

This also appears to impact all topics when you have the Topic List Excerpts theme component enabled.

It seems to affect all topics now, not just pinned ones. When the topic at the top receives a reply, the banner is shown, but the information is not updated when you click it.
