"install this theme component" does not work with DiscourseConnect

  • Use the Install this Theme Component button
  • Get a weird error message

Other variations are (depending on the discourse_connect_url)

Yes - but apparently the plugin for this button makes a request from the backend of Meta to the forum, which is obviously not authenticated.
