Discourse Splash vorgestellt – Eine visuelle Preloader, die angezeigt wird, während Website-Assets geladen werden

Super this now appears to be working as expected!

Thanks for such diligence. :1st_place_medal:

Thanks for that update. It made a huge difference in Core Web Vitals, and everything is in the green now.

I have also enabled this option in my settings, but I don’t see it?

That is only good thing. If you’ll see it, it means something is starting too slowly. But you can throttle your browser if you like to see Splash in action.

Oh, then I guess I will never see it, its running locally and I use web socket.

The white flash is back with a vengeance on beta14

Not seeing this:

I’m seeing the white flash again as well. My current configuration is dark mode on iPhone and a dark theme on the Discourse communities I’m seeing this on.

3 „Gefällt mir“

I can’t see it anymore here on meta, am I the only one?

2 „Gefällt mir“

I can’t say. It depends of speed of server, connections and internet so I see it rarely anyway. The thumb of rule is seeing the spash is never a good thing and is there only for googlebot

4 „Gefällt mir“

Honestly, when I first saw this update a while back, I was surprised. Quite the amazing update even though I’m a year late :stuck_out_tongue:
