아이패드 - Composer의 Peek 모드 버튼으로 인해 편집기가 화면 밖으로 나가 수정 불가

Initially I added this as a support request, but I figure it must be a glitch… I recreated in a different browsers on ipad 26.2 and 26.3

Basically, if I hit the button in the first screenshot, the composer goes off the screen (second screenshot). I can’t undo this action, and I can’t see that button anymore after I click it. What is it supposed to do?

Thanks…

This is our peek-mode, which should only apply on large (enough) screens:

Can you please try if you see the button on Meta too? Because I don’t, which is how it is intended I belief.

I can’t repro on my own tablet. Which tablet (size) are you using?

Maybe your tablet sits just at an awkward cutoff point for either styling.

Thanks for the reply. I checked Meta after I saw the situation on my instance - I do not see the button - so I can’t reproduce there either. So maybe it is something with the theme? You are welcome to try my instance if you want to repro: https://si.discourse.group

Also, my tablet size is standard ipad pro - no customizations

You can select the horizon-theme here as well at Discourse Meta - The Official Support Forum for Discourse or by using the selector at the bottom of the sidebar. Then you should be able to see the button here too.

Ok got it - I saw the button and was able to reproduce on meta

Also confirmed that if I switch to classic theme, there is no issue. (I’m happy to stick with that for now… at least we’ve isolated it to the theme).

Okay, can confirm. Will see about a fix.

This should be fixed by UX: peek-mode composer fixes for 13in tablets by chapoi · Pull Request #38533 · discourse/discourse · GitHub

Let me know if it isn’t after updating please :folded_hands:

Works for me - thanks!
