We use Discourse to provide support to our community. Occasionally we take the support to a private message and I’d like to be able to add other admins to the private message without inviting them. I just want them to get a notification and be able to see the full history of the message chat.
It seems this is only possible via going through the invitation process.
You could copy the url of the PM and send it to another staff member via posting something in #staff, a Chat or a PM. This would notify them.

Given the link, would they be able to join in on the chat too?
If it is an Admin, they can see any PMs.
However, note that Admins cannot see chat DMs, so taking these private support tickets to a PM will be better.
Right, I had not appreciated that. So I can simply share the PM link to an Admin, they can read and reply if needed without any invitation. That’s great.
