Is it possible to reproduce the dev.to layout in Discourse?

I like this layout a lot:

T - A toolbar on the left
S - A sidebar on the right, whose content changes depending on the context
S - A large Search Bar on the top

Is it possible to achieve the same layout through Discourse theming means? Anyone knows of any similar layout already implemented for Discourse?

Everything is possible. The question is … at what cost?

Radical customization requires significantly more longer term maintenance.

At the moment we have a whole bunch of sidebar themes for you to choose from, many of which are maintained by us.
