Is it possible to use live chat software with Discourse?

I have spent the morning trying various live chat software including HelpScout and Chatra and I can’t get the live chat to work with Discourse.

I have the threads below and I am still lost.

Setup LiveChat Chat Integration

Can anyone help, please?

P.S. I would prefer to use Help Scout or Chatra if possible as that’s the platform I am using right now, bit I may consider others as a last resort. Thank you.
