Is there a component so when a topic is marked as Solved, the topic gets locked and a custom message is posted with it?

You can auto-close solved topics

Looks like instant isn’t an option? 1hr minimum? 
Also need a custom solve/lock message or reply to be posted when solved.

I think you’ll need a plugin.
The reason there’s a delay is that sometimes people realize it’s not solved or someone else has another comment.
Have you had problems because topics are not locked?

No “problems,” per-say, but for my purposes, would heavily prefer an immediate lock, but the main thing I want to accomplish here is a message that gets put when Solved.

Hey, yeah, I made a comment on the Automation Plugin. I don’t think it currently does what I want it to.
