In this topic Can I default to a hidden sidebar? a theme component was shared that closes the sidebar by default. It was created 2 years ago and I don’t use it myself, so I am not :100: sure that it still works but I assume so. https://github.com/VaperinaDEV/closed-sidebar-by-default

You can set the Navigation Menu to Header Dropdown mode in Site Settings.
