I need cloudflare to hide my server source IP to prevent attack and save traffic + speedup.
But Discourse does not work very well after enabling Cloudflare.
It need to modify a lot of things…I see many people in the community want to use…
Can Discourse developers find a way to support Cloudflare?

You need to add this to you app.yml inside the ‘templates’ section (it’s at the top) then rebuild (./launcher rebuild app):
- "templates/cloudflare.template.yml"
If you need more step by step instructions then let me know, happy to help.

You need to also create a page rule for your discourse domain to “disable performance
”. This will turn off features known to interfere with the app.
