Sorry, I’m a bit new to this oembed stuff, so, is there any reason why it doesn’t just fallback to the good old standard title, favicon and meta description if those tags, which often have the same content as the various other tags? I assume all pages get fetched to see if they have content to render, so the data is available
OpenGraph or oEmbed tags are required for the feature to work. I suggest opening a ticket on JIRA about this. It’s not our bug, or any missing feature on our end.
