No activation email

Hello Community,

I hope someone can give me a tip with my particular problem.

I have set up OAuth2 and it works for registration up to the point where the activation email is sent.

Here’s what I’ve already checked:

  • No emails are stuck in the mail server.
  • Sending emails via the admin area as a test email works.

Strangely, no new user is created either.

So you have OAuth2 email verified unset, and expect Discourse to be sending that validation email, or is your oauth server doing that? (In which case you need to see why it isn’t sending the email).

Does email validation work when you use a regular local login?
