This is currently happening to me on a Galaxy Tab S10 FE tablet, is this happening for anyone else?
Yes I can repro, will have a look at it thanks.
Can you confirm that if you increase the height of the composer to be above the height of the keyboard then it works?
It seems like a bug in android/galaxy tab where if the keyboard goes fully over the composer it will blur elements, and given that if you blur the input there’s no need for a keyboard, then the keyboard is hidden.
I don’t have any idea to fix it at the moment, all I can tell you is the workaround to slightly increase the composer height.
I tried it and it works as long as you increase the composer height.
Yes thanks for confirming, Im still trying to think of a short term solution but I can’t think of anything for now ![]()
I would be delighted if you could come up with a solution at some point. It is not always as easy to change the position of the input as it is with Composer. Sometimes the only solution is to use portrait format or to write the text elsewhere and then paste it in.
this is also on a galaxy @moin?
And yes I will have a solution at some point, but Im afraid this won’t be in the short term, I need to rethink the UI/UX here to be able to come up with something ![]()
It’s a Galaxy Tab S9 FE
