Is there a known issue with keyboard shortcuts not working in Firefox on Windows? We have a member on Windows 7 and Firefox 74 reporting difficulty on our instance here:
Firefox has a “Search for text when you start typing” setting, that would interfere with most shortcuts. Is this the case?

The first thing to try is Firefox safe mode.
