Latest iOS app: loses dark theme after switching back to app

iOS app 1.8.4

Expected

• app uses auto/system dark/light theme
• it’s night time so I’m expecting dark same as my phone

Actual

• app uses dark theme on first launch
• switching back to app theme is set to light

In the latest version, despite dark mode settings on iOS, it’s forging into light mode.
