In the sidebar, we can add custom sections. I want to link the inbox of one of my groups.
I want to add the custom section with a link to the group message inbox, so that the members of my group have a quick access to it from the home page, without having to go into groups > message >…
The catch: I don’t want each member of the forum to see it, but only to every member of the group. Since it’s a private group, not discoverable, what happens if I check the box "visible to everyone” ? Will it make it visible to every member of our forum? Is there a way to have both the Section title (here, “HelioArc Board”) and the linked page, only visible to the group that hosts the inbox pointed to by the link `*/messages/inbox`?
Partially. Currently, I don’t see a way in this component settings to move the Messages section anywhere else, it seats after the Categories section. Due to our very long list of categories, it is not apparent unless we scroll down, so it is forgotten by my group members (in fact, by any group owners, and we have more than 20 groups…). So, that component has not been helpful so far. The custom section we make for our group inbox in the sidebar, for some reasons, has its default location above the Categories section.
