Our site requires all new users to apply, answer questions, and then be approved by Admin.
Is there a place where unapproved new member’s answers/requests are saved? A log?

Could you walk through the current workflow step by step?
In particular, where what happens when a user is approved? Are they added to a particular group at that point? Is everything you’re describing happening within Discourse or do some of these activities happen in a different system?

Our site is completely private. Only users with accounts, after logging in, can read posts, reply, etc.
When creating a new user account, there are several mandatory questions, several optional ones.
After a new user completes the questions, agreeing to terms of service, etc, the Admin of the site are notified and review the application. If everything looks okay, they’re approved and can now login and participate in the site. At this time they are only added to the default group, after a period of time they can ask to be added to other groups.
We would like to know how to keep track of the information and answers provided by users who are not approved.
