The user directory is only updated once a day (except for “today”, which is updated once per hour). Looking at the “Last Updated” time, I am not surprised that you aren’t in that list now.
Thanks @Moin you are right…
Still in Brave browser, I refresh the page many times and am (correctly) still showing as logged in.
Then, I click the Logout button, but I still remain Logged in, even after subsequent browser “Hard Reload”, as well as then “Empty Cache and and Hard Reload”…
Next I click the Users menu item, and see this…
I think the Cloudflare errors are more concerning. Maybe caching is misconfigured, so it mixes up sessions between users.
This doc lists some of the common pitfalls when using Cloudflare:
Thank you for your suggestion. I will debug the Cloudflare settings. As a user from Mainland China, my domain is hosted on Cloudflare, and I use its CDN and DNS services. I also utilize some of its security configurations and network acceleration services. I am not sure which of these might be causing the issue, so I will try to reconfigure them.
Thank you for helping me locate the source of the error!!Indeed, it was due to a conflict between Cloudflare’s cache settings and the cache settings of my server management panel, 1Panel. After I turned off the cache switch in the 1Panel server management panel, my website returned to normal. I had installed the Linux server management panel 1Panel and configured a reverse proxy for my website within it, also enabling the website’s cache switch, which led to a series of errors. Now that I have turned off the switch, everything is back to normal. I am extremely grateful for your patience! Without your help, I really wouldn’t have known where to start in diagnosing and resolving this issue!!! The Discourse community is truly one of the friendliest communities out there!! I believe that with the support of enthusiasts like you, it will become the most popular forum framework in the world!
I like to think that others might easily find and possibly benefit from reviewing this session. I’m glad I could assist.
I agree that the Discourse community is unmatched in its awesomeness!
I have re-checked from my end, and everything seems to be working on your site now.
This is all thanks to your help! I believe it was caused by a caching error. By reviewing my actions before and after migrating the server, and following your patient guidance and suggestions, I was finally able to pinpoint the issue and resolve it. Wishing you a joyful life —greetings from across the ocean!
Good job finding the answer here! I moved this topic to the Support category. What do you think would be a good new title for it?
