The discussion revolves around the outdated description of the regular badge, which still mentions access to a “private lounge area” despite the fact that such a category is no longer part of the default setup. Moin pointed out the discrepancy and submitted a PR to update the text, which was initially closed but later reopened. ToddZ confirmed the issue persists as of November 2024, and tobiaseigen suggested separating the lounge update from a larger PR for faster approval. Lilly and bloomexperiment provided updates on the PR status, with Moin sharing the updated pull request link.
This badge is granted when you reach trust level 3. Thanks for being a regular part of our community over a period of months. You’re now one of the most active readers, and a reliable contributor that makes our community great. You can now recategorize and rename topics, take advantage of more powerful spam flags, access a private lounge area, and you’ll also get lots more likes per day.
Since there is no private lounge area by default maybe that part should be removed.
I don’t know when the pre-seeded TL3 Lounge category was removed, or the reasoning, but as of Nov 2024 this language is still there. Since it’s now up to us to add a Lounge-like category and define the criteria, this bit really shouldn’t remain.
Wow, @Moin! That PR has alot of changes in it. Can you please separate the big PR from this smaller one about the lounge so we can approve it now? Good catch!
