Mentioning groups through email posts

Is there a way to mention a group of users through a post that’s created using email polling?

This would be a great feature as many of my users respond to threads from their email notifications vs within the discourse implementation.

Make group messaging a first class citizen in Discourse, allow PMs to groups, allow group mentions (under controlled circumstances)
