InesBelKahia asked about the conditions under which the educational pop-up message appears when creating a topic or replying, noting inconsistent behavior between users. She also inquired about adding images and increasing text size in these messages. Moin explained that the message appears for the first few posts (configurable via educate until posts in site settings) and can be customized via /admin/customize/site_texts. Firepup650 clarified that images can be added using standard Markdown syntax, and text size can be adjusted via CSS or by using headers. Moin demonstrated how to format the message using headers and Markdown, including embedding images and linking to guidelines, while confirming that all post formatting options are available in the educational text. InesBelKahia confirmed she couldn’t locate the post count setting in the text editor, which Firepup650 clarified is in site settings, not the text customizer.
When creating a topic or replying to someone, the little text appearing on the right does not always do.
For example, for me, it doesn’t appear when I create a topic, but it does when I reply to someone, whereas my manager doesn’t get the message at all. We were wondering when did the message appear exactly?
Also, is it possible to add a picture or to make the text bigger?
You can use all the formatting you can use in posts.
This is how I created the formatting in the screenshot
