Missing emoji in pinned topics and category list

Emoji are missing in pinned topic excerpts and category descriptions.

Agreed. It would be nice to have these … but maybe smaller and de-saturated to black-and-white with CSS so they don’t stick out too much?

This has been brought up before, but maybe now that Emoji is supported elsewhere, the tides have turned?

If they’re not showing by design maybe it would be an improvement to not show them at all instead of showing the textual version.
