On desktop, I often want to swipe the pictures with my mouse directly from the post 
, and not from the image viewer, Instead of opening the gallery, then swipe.
I don’t feel I always need to see the full resolution pictures, and sometimes the pictures shown don’t even have high resolutions versions. This example was from the official announcement btw.
Do you think this could be added ?
I can do this already, even on your post. I swiped through the pictures with no lightbox appearing. The arrow buttons and thumbs can be interacted with without it being shown in the lightbox. What device are you using?
I think that a continue scroll (from last to first image) could be a good to have.
I can confirm that swiping is working flawlessly on Android as well
