My expectation was that by me, as admin, setting “set locale from accept language header”, the interface language would follow the user’s preference, unless they opt for a different language.
I didn’t see a reason to expect different behavior from whether the user applies for membership or I send them an invitation.
I suppose, instead of emailing them an invitation, I could email them a link to the apply page, but then I would need to approve their apply request, which adds possibly a day, since our users are global.
I’d love if this behavior could be changed. But regardless, I appreciate your time in explaining why this feature hasn’t worked as expected, thank you.
