My AI bot does not reply to DMs but does reply to mentions in topics

I enabled the AI Plugin with Claude Sonnet 5
When I @Mention it in a topic it responds but there is no DM response.

If you go to /admin/plugins/discourse-ai/ai-features/5/edit is this setting checked?
