I did just as you said and it displays just a link still. Do I have to do some settings for it to show up? There are no errors, and it is a relativelvy new install.
Also, sometimes when I do the same for non mp3, like png, it shows broken link, at other times it works though. The mp3 link however never shows up as a player.

Try inserting the mp3 link on its own separate line like this
(instead of on a line with other text, like this http://example.com/audio/mp3/crowd-cheering.mp3)

It is on its own line, there is nothing else typed in but the link on the post.
De onde você pega esse link do MP3? (onde você armazena esse arquivo MP3?) Tentei usar o Google Drive, mas não funcionou. Obrigado pela esclarecimento.
Precisa ser baixado diretamente do site externo, sem redirecionamento ou bloqueio por login.

Como mostrar quantas vezes a música (voz) foi reproduzida? Assim como mostrar a contagem de cliques em posts?
Ótimo, funcionou para mim, depois que adicionei o tipo de arquivo. Pesquise por “arquivo” nas configurações e simplesmente adicione o seu tipo de arquivo.
Você também pode arrastar e soltar diretamente em uma postagem. Excelente. Estamos tentando fazer com que uma senhora idosa participe, que pode não conseguir digitar convenientemente. Isso removerá alguns obstáculos.
