“用户页面”的导航在移动设备上不友好

Hello!

On mobile the navigation experience of user pages is not user friendly.

This mainly is an issue when users want to view their own account, activities, profile and preferences.

When you view your own user page, the top navigation tab options are icons. It’s hard to know what they mean (or to focus on them as navigation options given all the text that appears on the initial “summary” tab, plus the big “Expand” button [I also have an “Edit” button in the screenshot below because I am experimenting with the Quick Profiles Link Menu theme component to make things more user friendly]).

Example:

Below them are nested navigation options that you must scroll horizontally to see. But in some cases, the need to scroll horizontally is not apparent. Take the “Preferences” tab for instance. On my device, you can’t tell that there are a range of other settings that can be reached and adjusted. It looks like Preferences only has four options (i.e. Account, Security, Profile, Emails).

Before swiping/scrolling, it appears that “Emails” is the last option:

After swiping to the left a bit, it becomes clear that there are more options:

I hope that’s helpful feedback!

(I’d also be greatful if someone knew of theme components or the like that can improve on this OR to hear that it’s something that Discourse would like to or plans to improve.)
