"New advice on site dashboard" notification but no advice there! (3.6.0.beta3-latest)

I have a feeling it’s trying to tell me to rebuild Discourse. I last did that on 29 October 2025, to 3.6.0.beta3-latest. Is it something to do with the new version naming conventions? Should I rebuild despite it saying “Looks like you updated recently. Fantastic!”?

I’ve just seen similar - a New Advice notification but no advice. Dashboard says

I will update now, as it looks from that that I am behind the times.

I saw this, too – notification, but no advice on dashboard (“Looks like you updated recently. Fantastic!”)

Under Admin → Updates I do see a new version available. Maybe this update is non-critical, thus not showing an update message on the Dashboard, but somehow triggered the notification anyway?

I’m now on 2025.12.0-latest so there was an upgrade to do!
