Will this also be reflected in the notification emails for the event? Or is that still locked in with the recently updated site-wide mechanism:

This is now merged! I guess I consider the OP resolved. We changed to a more “friendly” date format in emails (llll) We allow pinning timezone in emails to non UTC timezones via the setting discourse_local_dates_email_timezone @aidanheerdegen it should be on your instance in a week or 2 but if you wish to rush an update shoot off an email to team@discourse.org!
