since you posted a link to your new forum i had a look. here are some quick observations and recommendations:

A community for night owls, horror writers, and anyone who comes alive after dark…

  • given the forum subject matter, perhaps a default dark theme would be appropriate; the light horizon theme feels a bit out of context for nocturnal night/vamp/horror-inspired content
  • i’m not wholly clear on the purpose though - is it for writers, horror-genre fans, or people who can’t sleep?
  • your logo appears to be a facebook meta ai generated full page mobile image - perhaps cropping it to actual logo size would make it fit better and be more readable?
  • having 2 welcome topics feel redundant
  • perhaps start some other topic discussions and get some users you know in your target community to sign up to kickstart it’s activity - the forum so far only has one member (you) and the 2 welcome topics so it is lacking content
  • if you are looking to attract new users, perhaps sign up on Google Search Console and get your site listed to be indexed, and post links to it in places where you know your target audience tend to read
