I have an issue with the recent reporting change, it says I am viewing the dashboard too much. This wouldn’t be an issue except that’s the landing page that you get when you enter the Admin area.
I noticed it happened after going into the Error Logs console and coming back to the site.
So my question is, is there a new rate limit I need to change to combat this or is this a deeper issue needing intervention externally.
As a small correction, “You’ve performed this action too many times” in the admin dashboard is not new. It used to occur for me every now and then, I forget how often but it wasn’t enough to be an issue. Also, the community health page is unrelated to the Reports tab.
In fact, I just tested it on my test site and it didn’t 429 until I alternated about 5-10 times. Rate limiting has historically not been very customizable but are you sure you just aren’t clicking too fast?
I guess I misunderstood what was being replaced, but I assume its probably just a one-off thing then. But Thanks for replying with a helpful insight. I don’t know that I clicked too fast… I only had the site open in 1 tab. I went to view error logs for another issue, and then clicked back to site and was met with that, it resolved after about an hour or so.
