But the preview of the link here in new incognito tab shows that there is no google signup option. Even though it is provided in signup page here Sanjal.com but not in invite link, Sanjal.com

Invite Only with External Accounts

I just tested this and found what I was expecting. When enable local logins is disabled, clicking the invite link displays a “Sign in with Google” modal: [image] When enable local logins is enabled, the username/password modal is shown: [image] The text on the signup modal lets users know that they’ll be able to login with any social logins using their email address. I think users will understand this to mean that they’ll be able to sign in with Google the next time they login to the site. …

That has come up before. I think the most recent request to support social logins on invites is

I recently set up a new instance and wanted to invite people with the lowest possible friction. One of the ways of reducing friction for sign-ups is to add social logins. So I added Google authentication. On a normal sign-up this works well. [1] However, upon testing an invite link, the user is initially forced to manually enter everything and is not given the chance to shortcut the sign-up form entry by using the Google button. Could this be improved?

I don’t think the advice from years ago, that users should simply not enter a password and use the social login with that email afterwards, still works. I wasn’t able to sign up without entering a password.

I didn’t check if disabling local logins still works, but I see use cases where you want local logins and easy sign-up through social logins.

Yes, please upvote the Feature request . The status quo does not make sense.
