When entering the full-screen chat and then the chatbot (or vice versa), it’s impossible to return to the forum. Both back buttons spin in place, with no possibility of returning to the forum itself.
Expected behavior: Both buttons should return to the homepage and/or the link the user was previously navigating.
when you say chatbot, do you mean forum.example.com/discourse-ai/ai-bot/conversations?
so would the steps be:

Yes, in Horizon (mobile) but opening the chatbot first in /discourse-ai/ai-bot/conversations followed by the full chat.
Note that I am using the F Nav theme component to allow entering the chat from the chatbot full-page, and it is not available on the Discourse default UI. But everyone can enter the URL, and I think it should encounter the same described behavior.
