Notification count does not decrease after pressing notification

On Meta each time I receive a notification in my profile picture and I press it, the number count does not go down despite the notification being dismissed in the list, the notifications get stuck until I refresh.

Post does not update automatically after edit / Notification indicator on the avatar doesn't update either

The notification count on my avatar also doesn’t update once the notifications are read, or when I receive new ones. [Screenshot_20260211_002202_Firefox] (Not sure why there are 2 reply notifications now, I am used 1 which was caused by Sticky unread reply notification) This is what I see after reload [Screenshot_20260211_002338_Firefox]

This was caused by a MessageBus upgrade, we reverted it and will try again at some point:
