Office 365 Email response to Discourse broken

HI,

after few test we noticed that discourse have a bug in prassing email answers from Office 365 sent via Email.

How to reproduce it:

  • Create a Topic
  • Wait for discourse Email
  • Respond to it via email

After this you can check on Discourse you answer and you see something like this:

We think the correct behavior should be that discourse remove the whole Content between these 2 red line - remove the replies contained in Mail.

For any such issues we are going to need

  1. To confirm you are on latest
  2. Have a copy of the raw emails sent to @zogstrip via a PM

Yes we use the latest version of Discourse (v1.6.0.beta1 +20)

It’s on my :pencil: list but it’s not high priority since the fix requires a lot of work and you’re the only one to report that issue.

I know you have lot of work but we need this fix, it’s have for us a very high priority. Can you please tell me when - probably - this bug will be fixed?

Probably this week or the next one. But not making any promises though.

Note, as per all bugs and features, our hosted customers always take priority. If you want to bump priority best way to do it is sign up or contribute a fix.

HI, it’s again me, :slight_smile:

i have one ( maybe two ) question it’s this bug fixed? If not then when can i expect it?
It’s been exactly 3 months since i reported the bug.
