It seems the older (I mean, I think before this commit: FEATURE: remove category badge style options, set bullet style as def… · discourse/discourse@797da58 · GitHub or when the category badge class changed…) quotes keeps the old class which drop the current style.
For example: Here, #documentation:sysadmin is the category and it seems the cooked ones hasn’t been updated to the new class in posts and chat messages.

Good choice of example, because this is fixed by rebaking the post containing the quote 
(we’ll get a migration setup so this can be done automatically)
