Hey all! I am trying to sort out if it is possible to create a group that anyone can join. I want it to be a sort of opt-in thing, perhaps joinable by clicking a link? The group can then be pinged for events. Is this possible? Thanks!
Using @mentions for groups is also limited by the max_users notified_per_group_mention site setting.
Are events new topics or posts? Then you could also make the group watch a tag or category, those are not limited in terms of how many users are notified.
