There is no information about this service on our website yet. We have our own integration software VISIE Connect which is used by various companies for system integrations.
We recently added this standardized feature (handling RSS feeds) to VISIE Connect, integrating with the Discourse API. On request we can add more features to VISIE Connect to connect to Discourse forums.
Yes, I tried the RSS plugin myself some time ago. Is is a great simple to use standard solution for most of us. But for our own forums we wanted more flexibility.
The VISIE Connect feature currently offers the following advantages:
Customize the post with a header and a footer per feed
Topic title customization (prefix and postfix)
Polling minimum every 5 minutes (instead of 10 minutes with the plugin)
It’s always a good thing to see people building and selling Discourse-related services, but honestly, even assuming it’s completely legitimate, your offer would inspire more trust if you had a proper website to explain and showcase your services, features and plans, and any required legal information.
As it stands, the way you’re presenting this paid service would be a no-go for me. As others said, you should really work on this before trying to sell. It would benefit both yourself and potential clients
