Picture uploads broken, when planning to create a Thread

Hi there,
when I try to create a planned thread via the automation plugin, it works perfectly.

It’s not working tho, when I try to add a picture to the thread.

With Chrome, I can’t even add it to the Composer.
With Firefox, I can add it to the Composer and it’s there:

Here, I can even add a description to the picture, and so on.
But, after waiting some time, it changes to:

Does anybody else have this problem?
When the thread is created, it also says [Upload failed].
The picture is smaller than the size limit and the file format is also allowed.
I have this same problem on my testing server, and on my production website, which is private.
Adding pictures to normal threads works as expected.

i would use the topic timer function for this and publish from a private category. much easier and you can easily preview the post.

Thanks. Yes, that’s how I am doing it currently.
I still wonder if this is a known bug.

Edit: There is a use case where the automation plugin would be better. For example if you plan to publish a thread that is also “featured”. I realize, that the ‘featured topic’ will only be visible for groups that have access to the category, but for admins, it’s still visible. To hide it for admins, a theme component or better, a fork of the homepage-feature component would be necessary. With the automation plugin, this could be avoided.
