We have expanded our topic bulk actions to allow you to pin or un-pin more than one topic at once.
To pin topics in bulk:
- Click the Bulk Select icon in the topic list.
- Select the topics you want to pin.
- Open the Bulk Actions menu.
- Click Pin.
- Choose whether you want to pin to the category or globally, select a timeframe, and click the corresponding Pin topics button. (You can still only have one banner topic at a time, so that option isn’t available in bulk actions.)
To un-pin, repeat the same initial process and select Un-pin from the Bulk Actions menu.
As a best practice, we recommend pinning with care so you don’t overwhelm your members with too many “urgent” topics — which can dilute the effectiveness of pinning. However, we hope this update makes the cases where you do want to manage pinning in bulk much smoother!
